Aroma: fresh, woody, strong, powerful, camphorous.
Uses: for inhalation, massage, baths, sauna, compresses, bug repellent.
In folk medicine it is valued for the following properties: helps wounds heal quickly and successfully, provides relief from a stuffy nose and cough, helps relieve symptoms of a cold, in the case of respiratory distress, massage a few drops of oil on the chest (helps soothe an irritated throat and helps deliver more oxygen to the lungs), provides energy and eliminates feelings of exhaustion and revives the mind, contributes to mental activity (including helping to focus on learning), relieves muscle tension, widely used in oral hygiene, helps with various skin problems.
Eucalyptus essential oil is one of the strongest and at the same time the oil with the broadest spectrum of action. Especially during the winter season, it is effective for respiratory diseases, relieving cough and cold, and effectively repelling severe headaches. NOTE: Eucalyptus essential oil is high in cineole and should be used with caution for infants and young children. Spraying small amounts to the air with a diffuser is permitted, but its safety must be checked first (so that there are no allergies, asthma or other similar ailments that could cause respiratory reactions when the oils diffuse).
Blends well with: lemon, pine, lavender, chamomile, lemongrass, peppermint.
